Stacy Wieb, Special Events Coordinator

For an incredible 12th year we are preparing to take to the hills.
Here are some of the frequently asked questions and answers about the tour:

When is the tour?
September 6 & 7, 2008.

Where does the tour start and finish?
The RMC starts and finishes in Dauphin at the Parkland Recreation Complex and the overnight stay takes place in Clear Lake.

Where do I stay?
Hotels are available in Dauphin on Friday night and in Clear Lake on Saturday night. Click here for handy accommodation list.

What if I cannot finish?
At any point you may catch a lift to the next rest stop or finish site. Our safety and gear vehicles along with the Dauphin Motorcycle Riders Association will travel the route looking for weary travelers or those requiring assistance.

Why is there a limit to the number of participants?
In accordance with Parks Canada and the RCMP, there is a limit to the number of participants who can cycle.

Why is there a pledge minimum?
There are expenses involved in putting on an event of this size. The RMC is a fundraising event for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Parkland Chapter. In order to meet the expenses of holding the event and to raise funds for MS research and to support programs and services for Manitobans living with MS, it is imperative for there to be a minimum pledge level.

Another question? Feel free to ask.
